Bible Verse:
Proverbs 4:14-19
14 Do not enter the path of
the wicked,
And do not walk in the way of evil.
15 Avoid it, do not travel on it;
Turn away from it and pass on.
16 For they do not sleep unless they have
done evil;
And their sleep is taken away unless they
make someone fall.
17 For they eat the bread of wickedness,
And drink the wine of violence.
18 But the path of the just is like the shining sun,
That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.
19 The way of the wicked is like darkness;
They do not know what makes them stumble.
Yeah, sorry for the lame title.
So yeah! 2009. Personally, I can't wait to see what the new year will bring. Might be a horrible year...might be meh...
But it might
just
be
AWESOME.
No one knows but God!
So yeah. 2009.
2008 wasn't a bad year, IMHO. I mean, I know the world went through crap this past year, but what doesn't kill only makes you stronger, right?
Well, depending on what it is.
Anyway, 2008 was a year of building up strength, for both the world and myself. Then again, what year isn't? We won't have a perfect year, filled with happiness, joy, and rainbow ponies, but at the same time, it won't be total suck. Just depends on how you look at it. If you look for bad crap, bad crap is gonna happen. That's how I see things. :]
Anyhoo, I wasn't really going for too many resolutions this year, and right now, whenever I think of some of them, I'm pretty much meh. But whatever; I'm going to share them with you.
Take note they are not organized by priority; they're just the first to come to mind.
1.) Start living healthier.
That means not totally ruining all I've worked for in track with junk food and eating too much. That also means to keep working out, even when the school year is over.
2.) Don't be lazy. Get a job.
College. Art. Life. It all takes money.
Besides, with more dough, I can visit my Love more. :] And that's something I'd really enjoy.
A third trip this year might also be a goal.
3.) Just don't be lazy at all.
If you can't procrastinate right, don't do it. If you're gonna regret it later, don't do it. Finally, if you don't have the time, just don't do it.
You can thank ~Thyself for all that. :] He's a procrastinating genius.
4.) Become a better Christian.
It needs work. <:C
5.) Buy a new video game.
I haven't gotten a new video game in a looooong long time.
Deprivation sucks.
6.) Run the 5K without walking.
Chya, right.
7.) Set priorities.
...right.
Okay, that'c more than I originally had, but whatever. My brain got going.
So yeah! Methinks that's about it for now. But before I end all this, I want to know about y'all. What do you think of 2008? 2009? What goals do you have for the new year? How've y'all been?
That's all. :]
Signing out!
